Over Zero Series Lone Shadow Full Set Deluxe 1/10 Scale Ep.2

Over Zero Series Lone Shadow Full Set Deluxe 1/10 Scale Ep.2

For the part runners, please refer to the previous post. The overall assembly process this time is just as smooth—no areas that require excessive force—but the joint tightness after completion is excellent. The structural design is definitely a highlight, making the building experience highly enjoyable. It’s hard to fully convey this through pictures and text—something you’ll need to experience for yourself.

Here is everything included for the main body (plus an alternate color armor piece and red transparent parts):

The main design follows a skeletal ninja style, with a relatively balanced color scheme that is visually pleasing. The body features multiple bionic structural elements and finely sculpted muscle details, while the subtle red accents add a nice finishing touch.

The head offers two options for the eyes: a fully transparent part and a transparent one with silver pre-painting. Here, the pre-painted version is used. Under normal lighting, it reflects a silver shine, and when illuminated, it still allows the blue light to shine through—an impressive effect.

The head's demon horns come in two styles, and also include interchangeable red and blue transparent parts. The mouth can be opened. The top of the head is made of a transparent part, and the small protrusion is the switch for the lighting unit. The body structure is quite interesting, featuring linked movement mechanisms in both the neck and waist. The chest area uses a combination of etched metal details and transparent parts for visual effect. There are five different etched patterns available, representing Solitary Shadow and the four Limin followers — here, I just chose one I liked and applied it. The six bone claws are also thoughtfully designed to accommodate both the cloak and effect parts, which will be discussed later. The waist features a very flexible and natural linked movement mechanism when twisted. The crotch area has relatively simple detailing, with silver pre-painted details inside the transparent parts. The arms feature multiple bionic muscle details, made of soft rubber material that gives a muscle-like bulging effect when stretched or compressed. The legs also incorporate many soft rubber components, with an overall black color scheme. The pre-painted and transparent part details on the sides of the thighs are particularly eye-catching.

The articulation performance surpasses 99% of mecha model kits, with many innovative structures greatly enhancing mobility.

First, the neck mechanism allows for a wide range of upward and downward movement. When the neck extends forward, the linked armor parts automatically shift to make space, enabling highly exaggerated forward head-thrusting poses.

The waist articulation range is fairly standard, but the linked movement mechanism stands out.Additionally, there's a unique forward-flipping joint at the base of the thigh, allowing for wide-range side-kicking poses. However, caution is needed during handling—do not rotate the thigh while the joint is flipped out, as this could easily lead to damage. The knee joint allows for a wide range of bending, and the calf’s bionic muscle section is made of soft rubber, which compresses and bulges when bent to the limit.

"Next, let's look at the weapons. Two sets of forearm armor are included, primarily used for mounting the oversized shuriken and blade. However, there's only one set of connectors for the weapons, so dual-wielding will result in one side being unable to attach a weaponThe armor itself connects to the arm using a dual-locking mechanism, making the structure very secure. Even when holding the large shuriken with one hand at any angle, it remains stable without any issue. The front end of the armor also features a flying anchor design. Two kunai are included, each with connectors that allow them to be mounted on the shoulders or sides of the thighs.Of course, they can also be held in hand or gripped with the toes. Can the kunai be mounted onto the armor for launching?Blades can also be mounted to the ankles using a set of connector parts. The blades come with slotted connectors that can be attached to the semi-circular handles. The two semi-circular handles can be combined into a full circle. The large shuriken can also be mounted on the back. The four blades can be assembled together to form a claw-like configuration.Next, let’s take a look at a set of poses showcasing the main body alone.Below is the full contents of the accessory pack.Includes four helmets representing the Limin followers.Ninja grappling claws""Ninja climbing clawsScythe and chainThe ninja sword can be mounted on the lower back. The wall panel comes with a retractable stand, allowing for wall-climbing poses. The wall panel also serves as a weapon rack. As for the storage base, its main function here is to act as a support stand—its storage capacity is quite limited.Below are some play options using the accessory pack."More than half of the accessory pack consists of this set of effect parts—absolutely stunning, no further explanation needed. Here is the proper way to equip the special cloak, though you can also drape it more freely for a flowing look."Here is the correct way to attach the hand sign pose parts.Another highlight is the oversized backdrop — here’s a quick demonstration of how it looks when paired together.

There are also additional play features such as interactions with the other Limin followers, color-swapping options, and equipment or cloak exchanges with Teastal, among others. However, due to space and time constraints, I won’t be demonstrating them all here.

This is probably the most enjoyable model kit I’ve built this year. The structural design is innovative and solid, the look and color scheme are stylish, and the playability is outstanding. The part quality and fit are excellent overall — in short, it’s both cool and fun. The standard version offers incredible value for money, while the deluxe edition adds amazing effect parts, a cloak, and a wide range of accessories — every one of which makes it highly recommended.
